Following the win at the Green Start Packaging award in Austria, Kraftpal continues to conquer the accolades and expert praises at the World’s stage by winning the WorldStar Award among 345 packaging projects, from 35 countries, that applied for WorldStar Awards 2021.
Successful participation at the Green Start Packaging award at the local level enabled Kraftpal to participate in the competition for the WorldStar Award with great success. After a slight delay due to the pandemic of COVID-19, which prevented the WPO Meeting of the judges in November 2020 in South Africa, the organizers decided to organize a virtual Judging in 2 rounds. The first round was conducted individually and remotely by the judges of WPO, and the second round was a zoom session organized among the judges to assess and discuss the shortlisted projects. The International judging panel was composed of 33 judges from 33 packaging associations, members of WPO (World Packaging Organisation), who judged 345 packaging projects, from 35 countries, that applied for WorldStar Awards 2021.
Unfortunately, due to restrictions of travel the Official Award Presentations Ceremony, scheduled for May 2021 will be organized virtually, which will not take away the shine of the WorldStar Award.
Gregor Brajovic, Kraftpal CEO on winning the award
Winning all these awards in recent time (Green Packaging Award in Austria, Smart Packaging Finalist in Austria, WorldStar Award) is not something we have been expecting even though we had always known our products come with exceptional value for the future of supply chains. Benefits for companies and product quality speak for itself.
However, only until our team conducted a comprehensive LCA study we did not have the supporting data to be vocal about the impact of our pallets in terms of improving sustainability and challenging deforestation. It seems to me that with continuous verification of our pallets by the clients as the cost-effective and sustainable loading platform for the future, we are finally recognizing undisputable trend on the market, and recognition from the experts from Packaging Associations worldwide confirms it as well.
Receiving all these awards further fuels our commitment to deliver environmentally friendly products and technologies to the market and thus support worldwide efforts to challenge excessive tree cutting. I hope soon more companies will join us on our path towards more sustainable logistics.
